A musical Christmas fest

They used to play in the 80s as part of different bands in Delhi University. And now, the band, wintage, is back again. “It was the passion for music that got us together,” says Shyam Sundar, the lead vocalist of the band that plays classic rock from 60s, 70s and 90s.

The members, who believe that their audience time travel with them into their college years, feel the music scene in DU has improved. “It is integrating more and more with international scene,” says Sundar, who is also the bassist with the band. Watch out for their rock n roll performance.

The five members of the band, Pratham, prefer to stick to their roots when it comes to the genre of their music. Their main objective is to revive Indian music through songs, which belong to different genres such as fusion, Indian rock, sufi and more.

The band regularly performs across various college festivals at Delhi University.
