Both desi and international celebs starred up the Grand Prix in town over the weekend.

The Formula One fiesta in town over the weekend was a grand, glam one, thanks to the celeb power that got it going. Many international and desi stars pumped up the action around the Grand Prix that took place at the Buddh International Circuit in Greater Noida.

Mexican-American guitar sensation Carlos Santana rocked the house on Sunday when he performed some of his greatest hits such as Boogie Town, Black Magic Woman and Maria Maria. “Thank you. It is a blessing to come to New Delhi and feel connected with your heart. We are all one family,” said the artist.

On Saturday, Black Eyed Peas member Jamie Luis Gomez aka Dj Taboo had some crazy surprises lined up for fans, with Punjabi tracks thrown in with his techno and hip-hop. Among home-bred stars, actors Sonakshi Sinha and Ajay Devgn sang the National Anthem with singer Shaan, while others spotted were actors Anil Kapoor, Gul Panag and Sonali Bendre. Among sportspersons, there were cricketers Yuvraj Singh, Virat Kohli and Harbhajan Singh and Olympics medallists, wrestler Sushil Kumar, shooter Vijay Kumar and Gagan Narang.
