Asha Bhosle shoots comeback music video with indie pop group Band of Boys

Asha Bhosle, who hasn’t sung a song in many years, is making a comeback of sorts with a music video alongwith indie pop group Band of Boys. Her grandson, Chintoo, is a member of the group.

Legendary singer Asha Bhosle, who is making a comeback after many years, has shot a music video with indie pop group Band of Boys. The 82-year-old singer, whose grandson Chintoo Bhosle, is part of the band, took to Twitter to share the picture from the shoot.

“Just finished shooting comeback video with Band Of Boys. Look out...Excellent song,” she captioned the picture.

The band with model-actor Sudhanshu Pandey, Sherrin Varghese, Karan Oberoi and Chintoo as the founding members released their first album Yeh Bhi Woh Bhi in 2002.

With hits like Meri Neend and Gori they became hit among the young crowd. However, the band didn’t perform regularly and made on and off appearances, with 2014 voting campaign track, The Ungli Song, being the last one.
