The evening came alive with splendid dance acts performed on classic hits from films like by Umrao Jaan and Pakeezah. Sahney presented Sufi songs written by the legendary Sufi saint, Bulleh Shah. Sahney’s daughter, Damandeep also performed at the event. Among guests digging Awadhi delicacies were South African ambassador Francis Moloi and JS Chadha of Pind Balluchi.
