Cliff Richard planning to release a new album

Cliff Richard is working on a new album which should release soon. It’s release had been held up due to the continuing sexual abuse case against Richard. Now, that he is done with it, he can go on.

Singer Cliff Richard is reportedly planning to release a new album now that the sexual abuse case against him has been dropped. The record has been put on hold while the case was on.

The 75-year-old singer recorded a new album, believed to be the second part of his 2013 collection The Fabulous Rock ‘N’ Roll Songbook in Nashville, Tennessee, over 18 months ago, reported Daily Telegraph.

Cliff - who was interviewed in 2014 and 2015 by police, who were investigating allegations that he sexually abused a teenage boy in the 1980s - recently had the case against him dropped due to insufficient evidence.

His friend, former Radio 1 DJ Mike Read, said, “Cliff is going to release his new album this year now that he’s cleared his name.”

“He’s had it on hold for years now throughout this ordeal.”
