Dhvani Bhanushali’s Dilbar tops Billboard YouTube chart

Dhvani Bhanushali says she feels blessed that right in the beginning of her career, she is getting so much love, thanks to her latest song, Dilbar. Next, her single with Guru Randhawa will be out soon.

Singer Dhvani Bhanushali is on cloud nine and she has got every reason to feel so. Her latest song Dilbar crossed 25 millions views within 24 hours of its release and soon, it booked the third spot on Billboard’s YouTube chart.

Touched by the love that the song is receiving, Dhvani says, “It feels amazing. I’m thrilled that something like this has happened so early on, in my career. I feel blessed. It’s motivating.”

To be featured in the film Satyameva Jayate, Dilbar is a recreated version of the popular track from the 1999 film Sirf Tum, which featured actor Sushmita Sen. The latest version has been composed by Tanishk Bagchi and sung by Dhvani, Neha Kakkar, and Ikka. The music video features Nora Fatehi and John Abraham. “Nora has done a fantastic job. She is a great dancer,” says Dhvani, who has also sung Ishtehaar (Welcome To New York) and Veere (Veere Di Wedding).

The 20-year-old, who has recently recorded a song with musician Guru Randhawa, wants to lend her voice to actors such as Alia Bhatt and Kareena Kapoor Khan, among others. “I want to sing for everyone. I think my voice will go well for Alia Bhatt because she is close to my age. Also, singing for Kareena Kapoor would be wonderful. My goal is to work with [AR] Rahman saab. I also want to work with other composers and explore different genres,” she says.
