Doherty held for drug possession

Troubled rocker Pete Doherty has reportedly been arrested on suspicion of heroin possession.

According to contactmusic.com, Doherty was pulled over by police after he was spotted driving erratically in East London. He was first administered a breathalyser test and arrested after police found a supply of the illegal drug.

He has been struggling with his addiction since he split up from supermodel girlfriend Kate Moss last month. He was bailed and will return for further questioning in the New Year.
