"I really liked the song when I heard the tune for the first time. When Neeraj (Pandey; director) asked me to lend my voice to it, I was very reluctant. He assured me that the song would be removed if it didn't sound great. Fortunately, everyone has loved it." Singing in the past "Before this song, I'd only rapped with Snoop Dogg in Singh Is Kinng (2008) and sung parts of a gurbani (devotional song). I never thought I would ever get into serious singing."
