Madonna takes adopted kids to Malawi for 1st time in two years

Madonna, who adopted two kids from Malawi, fulfilled the promise that she made to bring them both back “every two or three years.” The songstress and the children touched down in the capital Lilongwe on her private Gulfstream jet on Monday morning.

The songstress and the children touched down in the capital Lilongwe on her private Gulfstream jet on Monday morning.

The 54-year-old singer was taken straight to the orphanage at Mchinji, where her adopted son David spent his initial years before being adopted in 2006.

She adopted her second Malawian child, Mercy James, in 2009 from the eastern district of Zomba both the children are now eight years old.

It has not been made clear if the pop diva has come with her four kids, including the two she adopted from the southern African country.

A government source told the Mirror that Madonna’s jet touched down at Kamuzu International Airport at around 10 am on Monday.

A source at the lodge said that all the guests who had checked into the lodge were asked to check out on Thursday and they are not checking in any new guests now.
