Musician Ravindra Jain critical, airlifted to Mumbai
Bollywood music composer Ravindra Jain, known for his music in films such as Chitchor and Geet Gata Chal, has been admitted to Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospital.
Bollywood music composer Ravindra Jain was airlifted to Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospital from Nagpur’s Wockhardt Hospital on Wednesday morning after his conditioned worsened. According to media reports, Jain, 71, was in Nagpur for a show, but he complained of low blood pressure and was rushed to the hospital.

Jain started his career in the film industry in the ‘70s and is credited with composing some of Bollywood’s most iconic songs for films like Chor Machaye Shor, Geet Gata Chal, Chitchor and Ankhiyon Ke Jharokhon Se.
Jain is also known for his compositions for the TV show Ramayana. He also gave music for its sequel Luv Kush.
