Rocker Pete Wentz refuses to answer the door to visitors - because he fears he will be murdered.

The Fall Out Boy bassist has previously been diagnosed with bipolar disorder, and admits he is so terrified he ignores a knock at the door to lessen the chances of falling to violence.

"I refuse to answer my front door because I''m convinced someone is going to murder me,” Contactmusic quoted him as saying.

“I used to think that some day I''d end up murdering a close friend or relative. Now it''s reversed and I''m convinced it''s going to happen to me.

"That''s the way I''m going out (going to die), I''m completely sure of it. So I refuse to answer the front door - it greatly minimises that risk," he added.
