Pritam freed of charges

The Music Director’s Association of India has cleared music composer Pritam in the charges imposed by a composer Raj Verma. Verma had alleged that Pritam had plagiarised his song Razia Gundo Mein Phas Gayi from Thank You.

In a letter to Verma, the association said, “There exists no substantial similarities in the tunes of both the compositions and hence the charges of plagiarism cannot be upheld, there exists no cause for action against Pritam.”
