“When Ashish Patil ( Head of Y-Films) shared the idea of having an ‘ode to papa’ song in Sex Chat with Pappu & Papa we jumped at the idea. But we were short on time, so I literally wrote the lyrics while we were composing the song. Getting Shubh (my younger son) to sing was pretty convenient,” Shaan said in a statement.

The Hey Shona crooner says he is very proud of both his sons Soham and Shubh. “I drew from the thought that like me, most sons want to be like their father. As a Papa, I’m very proud of both my boys and I can’t stop gushing about how soulfully well my Shubh has sung this song,” he added.
