Actor Chitrangda Singh has turned singer for her mentor Sudhir Mishra’s upcoming film Yeh Saali Zindagi.

Chitrangda, who plays a singer in the film took a shot at singing her own song. The actor admits that she took inspiration from singer Alicia Keys for the role. The actor says that she checked out both Alicia and singer Josh Stone’s videos because they both are not “bizarre with their body language”.

She intentionally avoided watching videos of Lady Gaga because she is too loud, unlike her character of a struggling musician.
