This is it, the Guns N Roses re-union you have all been waiting for, with the exception of Axl Rose, of course. This album brings together the former members Steven Adler, Duff McKagan and Izzy Stradlin on various songs on the album.

The icing on the cake is the vast array of guests who have all stepped in to lend their talents to the power songwriting talents of Slash. Look at the list, Ian Astbury (The Cult), Ozzy Osbourne, Chris Cornell, Adam Levine (Maroon 5), Dave Grohl, Kid Rock, Alice Cooper, Nicole Scherzinger, Andrew Stockdale (Wolfmother), Lemmy Killmister (Motorhead), Flea (RHCP), Cypress Hill and Fergie, among others. Whew! That is one mother of a superstar line-up.

And the music? Well, the songs sound all very GnR, as is expected. One only hopes that Axl and Slash kiss and make up soon. But even then, I don’t mind the separate GnR albums hitting me from time-to-time. And check out Fergie and Cypress Hill on the inevitably re-versioned Paradise city.
