Who are they?
A Delhi-based rock band that call themselves Bull Engine.
Why should you care?
They were amongst the top four in Hyderabad for the Battle of Bands competition by Hard Rock Café this year. Known for their originality in music, the band has also composed the title track for a government organisation last year and were runners up at IIM Indore in January this year. They also performed to a packed auditorium at The Kyra Theatre in Bangalore last month.
How long have they been around?
They started performing in June 2009.
Why this name?
Bull is for power and engine is the symbol for their engineering background. Together, this term means ‘power of expressions’ to this group of engineers turned musicians.
Their practice ground:
Twice a week at The Overdrive Record Studio at Lajpat Nagar.
What makes them click?
Their original compositions like Stay Away and Bad Monkey instead of re-churning the music of the covers of other lead bands.

That most of them are in it for the fame instead of love for music.
