‘Utmost pleasure’ singing for cinema of South India: Shreya Ghoshal

Bollywood playback singer Shreya Ghoshal says she is honoured to be a part of the South Indian film industry as well.

The 32-year-old singer, who has won nine Filmfare Awards South for her songs in Telugu, Kannada, Tamil and Malayalam languages, says she gets utmost pleasure singing for the cinema of South.

“I get utmost pleasure singing for the Tamil/Telugu/Malayalam/Kannada Industry. Privileged to be singing in these languages, music exists here,” Shreya wrote on Twitter.

The singer also tweeted some of her favourite South Indian songs, including Mirutha Mirutha, Thalachithalachi and Kaathirunnu Kaathirunnu. All three tracks are sung by Shreya.
