TARMALA (MUKTSAR): Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal has asked the Centre to beef up security along the Indo-Pak frontier in the state to check infiltration from across the border. “Effective steps must be taken by the government of India to check infiltration from across the border,” Badal said, and expressed happiness over the home ministry’s decision to revoke the orders regarding evacuation of villages within a 10km radius of the border.
