LUCKNOW: Telecom authorities last month cancelled the transfer of 30 BSNL UP East Circle employees on a request letter from an MP that later turned out to be fake. The letter, allegedly written on the letterhead of BJP’s Barabanki MP Priyanka Singh Rawat requested telecom minister (independent charge) Manoj Sinha to intervene and get the transfers cancelled. The matter came to light when the affected telecom employees approached the Barabanki MP and she denied having written any letter.
