‘Congress took NCP down’ was about Maha: Patel

PANAJI: Days after blaming Congress for causing the downfall of NCP, Praful Patel, senior leader of the Sharad Pawar-led party, said on Sunday he was only referring to what happened in Maharashtra ahead of the 2014 assembly polls. “I had said that in the context of Maharashtra. In Maharashtra, we were together, but (at the) last minute, there was no alliance with Congress...as a result both of us lost,” he said.
