NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi asked officials on Wednesday to expedite the grievance redressal mechanism in the expanding e-commerce sector. At his Pragati meeting with senior officials across ministries and departments, Modi asked officials about the “large volume of complaints related to the e-commerce sector, such as tickets and hotel bookings” and asked them to take decisive steps. He also sought follow-up action in 10 days. In the meeting, installation of solar pumps was also reviewed.
