SHIMLA: Police rounded up two motor mechanics on Monday for allegedly raping a 25-year-old Israeli woman in Manali town. The suspects, who are in their early 20s, were identified as Akshaya Rana of Kangra and Punkaj of Sarkaghat in Mandi district. “Police have also impounded the vehicle used in the crime,” said Manali DSP Puneet Raghu. The victim said she was gang-raped by two men, who offered her a lift on Sunday morning when she could not find a taxi.
