Vandals damage Ambedkar statues in Azamgarh

VARANASI: Unidentified people damaged statues of BR Ambedkar at three locations under Saraimeer police station area in Azamgarh late on Saturday night, police said.

VARANASI: Unidentified people damaged statues of BR Ambedkar at three locations under Saraimeer police station area in Azamgarh late on Saturday night, police said. New statues were set up at two locations. The third was repaired after the incident. One incident came to light on Saturday night. The other two were reported on Sunday morning. Locals of Khudgasta area informed the police that some anti-social elements damaged a statue of Ambedkar at night.
