Amatuer MMA fighter Donshay White dies after getting knocked out in fight

Donshay White, an amatuer MMA fighter has died after getting knocked out in his first fight in nearly two years in Louisville Kentucky. The exact causes of his death remain unknown.

Amatuer mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter Donshay White died on Saturday after getting knocked out in his first fight in nearly two years against Ricky Muse in Louisville, Kentucky.

The referee had to intervene a little over two minutes into the fight after White failed to block hits by his opponent.

The 37-year old was fine at first and responded to the referee but required medical attention at the end of the fight. However, when he reached backstage, White collapsed and did not respond to CPR.

He was then rushed to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.

In the aftermath of White’s passing, the Kentucky Boxing and Wrestling Commission called off the rest of the event.

The exact cause of death remains unknown at this time.
