India will take on arch-rivals Pakistan in the summit clash today after the latter defeated Japan 5-2 in another league match earlier in the day.
Korobov stays in lead
new delhi: Grandmaster Anton Korobov of Ukraine maintained a half-point lead after drawing with nearest competitor Evgeny Alekseev of Russia in the sixth round of the AICF-AAI Chess Cup 2012 here at AAI officers institute on Wednesday.

Air India win
Bhopal: Last year's runners-up Air India (AI) lifted the International Obaidullah Khan Gold Cup hockey tournament title by defeating holders Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) 4-3 in the final here late Tuesday night.
For AI, Shivendra Singh and captain Arjun Halappa scored two goals each. Gurjinder Singh scored a hat-trick to reduce the margin of defeat for IOC.
In the third-fourth place play-off match, Punjab and Sindh Bank beat ONGC 3-2.
