Indians eye podium finish

GM Surya Shekhar Ganguly overcame Evgeny Postny as India beat Israel 2.5-1.5 to move within striking distance of a podium finish after eighth round of the World Team Chess championship here.
Besides Ganguly, the other three Indians — K Sasikiran, P Harikrishna and S Arun Prasad drew against their respective opponents. India and Azerbaijan now share the third spot with 11 points each.
