Now, IPL-like league for boxers
Boxers will be competing in an Indian Premier League-style competition very soon. The decision was approved at the AGM and executive council meeting of IBF held on the sidelines of the National Games event in Jamshedpur on Monday evening.

Boxers will be competing in an Indian Premier League-style competition very soon. The decision was approved at the AGM and executive council meeting of IBF held on the sidelines of the National Games event in Jamshedpur on Monday evening.
Secretary IBF PK Muratlitharan Raja said they have accepted a proposal submitted by their marketing partners Percept. "It would be a franchisee based and would ideally be of 14 days duration in a season. Other modalities would be chalked out soon," said the official.
