Rutuja advances, top seed Shlomo ousted
Qualifier Rutuja Bhosale continued her good run in the $10000 ITF Women's tournament being held at DLTA on Wednesday. The 15-year-old Asian junior champion defeated compatriot Ratnika Batra 6-3, 7-6(6) to advance to the quarterfinals.

Qualifier Rutuja Bhosale continued her good run in the $10000 ITF Women's tournament being held at DLTA on Wednesday. The 15-year-old Asian junior champion defeated compatriot Ratnika Batra 6-3, 7-6(6) to advance to the quarterfinals.
However, it was the end of the road for top seed Keren Shlomo. The girl from Israel was shown the door by unseeded Polish Joanna Nalborska as she lost 6-2, 0-6, 5-7. The only other seed to bow out today was seventh-seeded Ankita Raina. She was thrashed 1-6, 1-6 by China's Zhaoxuan Yang.
Ashvarya Shrivastava, seeded fourth, saw off Paticia Haas of Austria 6-2, 6-4 to set up a clash with eighth-seeded compatriot Prerna Bhambri. Bhambri thrashed compatriot Nimisha Mohan 6-0, 6-1 in another match. HTC
