The duo said their next aim is to cross the Pacific Ocean.

"We will now prepare ourselves to cross the Pacific Ocean," said Richa (20) who, along with Roshmi (23), swam across the Indian Ocean with a timing of 3 hrs and 20 minutes at Cape Town.

The duo had crossed strait of Gibralter two years ago.

Richa told a TV channel that water temperature of the Atlantic Ocean off Cape Town coast varied between 13 to 14 degrees Celsius.

Narrating their experience, Roshmi said at times they were terrified of sharks and water was also too cold "but we were unmoved and continued".

Meanwhile, state Sports minister Madan Mitra conveyed chief minister Mamata Banerjee's greetings to the sisters.
