Modi may campaign in Bihar assembly polls if needed: Mishra

Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi will visit Bihar to campaign for BJP candidates during the assembly polls later this year if his services were required, senior party leader Kalraj Mishra said today.

Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi will visit Bihar to campaign for BJP candidates during the assembly polls later this year if his services were required, senior party leader Kalraj Mishra said on Sunday.

"Be it Modi, or any other top BJP leaders, they will be asked to campaign for BJP candidates during the Bihar polls", he said in reply to questions by mediapersons on the Gujarat Chief Minister's visit for electioneering.

Mishra cited the Centre's appreciation of the performance of the BJP government's in Gujarat, Karnataka and Madhya Pradesh towards the welfare of the minorities to drive home his party's secular credentials.
