The Mahurat shot of the film was Lallan mia and Omi's interaction. A crowd was gathered to watch the shoot, all of a sudden Saeed Jaffery (Lallan Mia) jumped into the crowd and asked a man for his lungi. It suited his character, the man took it off in front of all and offered it to the actor. And thats how Lallan got his lungi!!

Chashme Buddoor was one of the first films to depict college life with such clarity and humour. The film just proves that almost everyone is 'cool' during college.
