Deepika Padukone is the leading lady in Shah Rukh Khan's home production, Happy New Year. She will be joining the cast in promoting the movie during the worldwide tour SLAM! that kick starts in Houston on September 19.

'Happy New Year', produced by Gauri Khan, is scheduled to be released this Diwali on 23 October. Slam! The tour aimed at promoting the movie will include the cast of the film, including Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Boman Irani, Sonu Sood and debutante Vivaan Shah.

Primarily aimed at promoting the superstar's upcoming heist film Happy New Year, SLAM! The tour includes director Farah Khan. This will be her third collaboration with Shahrukh Khan after Om Shanti Om, which also starred Deepika Padukone.

Boman Irani, who believes Happy New Year has something 'magical' about it will also be a part of the tour. The cast will be joined by the film's director Malaika Arora Khan, rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh and 'Baby Doll' singer Kanika Kapoor.
