An indigenous dog pet show was held at the Tamil Nadu Veterinary & Animal Science University in Madurai. More than 200 individuals attended the expo with dogs of native breeds. P Moorthy, the state minister for commercial taxes and registration of Tamil Nadu, attended the ceremony as the main guest.
