Photos: Cyclone Ockhi kills 16 in Kerala, Tamil Nadu, batters Lakshadweep

Cyclone Ockhi, has claimed 16 lives in Kerala and Tamil Nadu, battering Lakshadweep with heavy winds late Friday and early Saturday. It is expected to intensify in the next 24 hours, the Met department has warned.

Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan Quoting meteorological reports, has said that it was a major relief that the cyclonic winds that were 70 km from the Kerala coastline on Thursday, are now around 200 km away.
