Photos: Over 60 million samples tested in India for Covid-19

On September 16, India crossed the 60-million-mark for coronavirus disease (Covid-19) tests. It took almost eight months to conduct 6,05,65,728 Covid-19 tests in India. India had one NIV laboratory in January. Since then, 1,751 laboratories have been added to its Covid-19 testing network. The average daily Covid-19 tests conducted in India has risen from 0.5 million (5,04,266) between July 29 and August 4 to about 1.1 million (10, 94, 592) this week.
