For the love of antiques: Interior designer India Mahdavi picks up a few favourites

Ahead of a major antique furnishings auction this April 22, the French auction house Artcurial invited interior designer India Mahdavi to choose her favorite items from those set to go under the hammer. Mahdavi shares what she likes about each of these exceptional items from the "Demeures d'Epoques et de Style" sale. (Photos: AFP) Set of 16 plates with bird and lotus flower motifs, Limoges porcelaine, 20th century: I collect tableware and I have a particular fondness for Limoges pieces. This set of 16 plates was a private commission and is thus one of a kind. Each piece is different and forms a whole on its own. I like the modernity of it.
