An American passenger and an Israeli passenger were detained after a fistfight broke out at Manila Airport.
An Israeli man and an American man reportedly engaged in a physical confrontation at a Manila airport in the Philippines on Saturday after the American allegedly hurled antisemitic insults at the Israeli, as per The Jerusalem Post.
Who is Kent Scott Lee?
Kent Scott Lee is a 54-year-old American passenger who was travelling to Cebu at the time of the incident. Investigators said the altercation began when Lee allegedly hurled “racist remarks” at Noam Shimon Rosenberg, 37, an Israeli passenger who was also bound for Cebu, according to Tempo. No further personal details about Lee have been made public so far.

What happened at Manila airport between Kent Scott Lee and Noam Shimon Rosenberg?
Two foreign nationals were detained by the Airport Police Department (APD) at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) after a fistfight broke out between them in the domestic departure waiting area on August 6.
Witnesses reported that Lee mocked Rosenberg's Jewish faith, prompting Rosenberg to retaliate physically. According to Rosenberg, he overheard Lee saying: “Jew's baby killer… Hitler was right, too bad Hitler didn't finish killing the Jews,” as per Tempo.
Enraged, Rosenberg allegedly kicked Lee's trolley bag and struck him, damaging a marble table near a food stall in the process.
Following the fight, the American can be seen in the footage saying: “You proved my point; you're going to jail; you attacked me,” before he called the Israeli man a “piece of s***,” according to The Jerusalem Post.
Lee, however, claimed that Rosenberg was the aggressor. He said the Israeli interrupted his private conversation and attacked him without provocation, according to Tempo.

Both men detained
Airport police officers quickly separated the two men to prevent further disturbance. Both were brought to Pasay General Hospital for medical assessment, with Lee requesting an X-ray at his own expense.
On August 7, the case was elevated to the Pasay City Prosecutor's Office, where both men faced inquest proceedings for alarms and scandals under Article 155 of the Revised Penal Code, as per Tempo.
