Verizon outage map: Is the cell tower down in your area? Latest updates as company acknowledges voice service issue
Verizon outage reports have come from states including New York, Georgia, Arkansas, Illinois, New Hampshire, Texas, Florida and Pennsylvania.
Verizon customers across the United States are reporting problems with their cell service, with outage reports coming in from multiple parts of the country.

According to Downdetector's Verizon outage map, users in several states have reported service disruptions, including issues with calls and mobile connectivity. Reports have come from states including New York, Georgia, Arkansas, Illinois, New Hampshire, Texas, Florida and Pennsylvania.
When did the Verizon outage start?
Downdetector began receiving a surge of outage reports around 3:50 p.m. EDT on Saturday. By 4:10 p.m., more than 8,000 reports had been submitted. The number continued to climb, surpassing 15,000 reports by 5:20 p.m.
Customers have reported difficulty making or receiving calls, loss of cellular connectivity and other mobile service issues.
Verizon responds
In a post on X, Verizon acknowledged the outage, saying it was aware of an issue affecting voice services for wireless customers in some parts of the United States.
The company said, "We are aware of an issue impacting voice services for wireless customers in some parts of the U.S. Our engineers are engaged and we are working quickly to identify and resolve the issue. Please visit our Check Network Status page for updates on service in your area. We know how much people rely on Verizon and apologize for any inconvenience. We appreciate your patience."

Social media reports
Several frustrated customers took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to report issues with Verizon's voice services.
One user asked, "Is anyone else not having phone calls go through? I try to call my mom and brother and it never connects to ring. Mom tried to call me and Wil and it won’t connect to ring. We have iPhones on Verizon."
Another added, "I live in ronkonkoma ny and 5 people here, all with Verizon, cant make or receive a call... on wifi or not on wifi."
A third user wrote, "So I can’t call out to my family who’s been trying to reach me. That’s not cool."
Another customer expressed, "Verizon have the most annoying and neglected costumer service in the history of costumer service. What a shame!"
