Early greying of hair is caused by a lot of factors. From watching what we eat to things such as heredity, there are a lot of reasons at play that contribute in early graying of hair. Nutritionist Anjali Mukerjee addressed this issue and wrote, “Grey hair is usually associated with aging, but this is not always the case. The change in hair color is caused by a gradual decrease of pigmentation. This occurs when melanin production reduces in the hair root and new hairs grow in without pigment.” she also noted down five reasons which causes grey hair. (Unsplash)
