Not all of us came from happy homes and families. Some have brought with them their own share of childhood trauma and memories of dysfunctional families. When we behave a certain way in a relationship, we should set a foot back and think of the childhood we came from and if it is impacting our behavior in the relationship. Sometimes it's not them, it's us – the problems are made by us. We should be sensitive to understand when we are making it problematic in the relationship, and change ourselves accordingly. (Unsplash)expand-iconView Photos in a new improved layout

We should always make time for meaningful conversations and quality time in the relationship as those are the times which bind two people most, emotionally. (Unsplash)expand-iconView Photos in a new improved layout

We should always learn to nurture other relationships, outside the partnership. That will help us to bring fresh perspectives and also make us feel more emotionally independent. (Unsplash)expand-iconView Photos in a new improved layout
