PHOTOS: Full dress rehearsal for the Republic Day Parade in New Delhi

The main Republic Day celebrations take place in Delhi on January 26, at Rajpath, before the President of India. One gets to witness parades on this day, which symbolize the strength, unity and diversity of India. Starting from the Rashtrapati Bhavan’s (the President’s residence) gates, Raisina Hill on Rajpath past India Gate, it is India’s main attraction for the Republic Day celebrations. On January 23, the full dress rehearsal of the Republic Day parade was held in Delhi. The rehearsal began at 9 50 am at Vijay Chowk.
