PHOTOS: How Kolkata looks during the coronavirus lockdown

On Sunday, the West Bengal government declared a lockdown in Kolkata, Salt Lake and New Town. The lockdown has also been declared in most municipal towns in 16 districts. However, there is no restriction on essential services such as food, health, police and others. The selling of groceries, milk and other food items is exempt from this rule. There have been a huge number of travellers, both international and national, who have been returning to Kolkata in the past few days.
