Mumbai Indians pulled off a clinical four-wicket win over Sunrisers Hyderabad to potentially get them into the thick of the race for the playoffs. Will Jacks starred with the ball, finishing with figures of 2/14, and later with the bat as he scored 36 in 26 balls with MI succeeding to keep the dangerous SRH batting lineup quiet. (AFP)

SRH batted first and their potent opening pair Abhishek Sharma and Travis Head remained unbeaten at the end of the powerplay. Strangely enough, though, the pair could only score 46 runs in it with the MI pacers keeping a chokehold on them. (HT_PRINT)

He couldn't carry on much further though with Jasprit Bumrah cleaning him up first ball of the very next over. Aniket Verma then provided a good finish in the last over for SRH and they ended their innings on 162/5. (AFP)

Rohit Sharma gave MI a quick start as usual but perished early, which also has been the usual thus far this season. He blasted 26 in 16 balls. His opening partner Ryan Rickelton was seemingly dismissed in the seventh over off Zeeshan Ansari but he was called back after it was deemed a no ball due to wicketkeeper Klaasen's gloves veering in front of the stumps as Rickelton made conact with the ball. He, however, fell the very next over on 31 off 23. (AFP)

MI kept their scoreboard ticking despite the fall of wickets. Jacks followed up his bowling effort with a 52-run stand with Suryakumar Yadav for the third wicket off 29 balls. The partnership pretty much ended any realistic chance of SRH defending the total. (AFP)

The scores were brought level by Tilak with a single off the first ball of the 18th over bowled by Eshan Malinga. However, then came a bit of bizarre drama as Hardik Pandya fell next ball and Naman Dhir fell for a duck two balls later. The over went by with two wickets falling after the scores drew level. (AFP)
