Photos of the week: The greatest white shark and a protesting rooster

A chance run-in with what may well be the largest great white shark ever recorded by scientists and the jilet jaunes renewing their protest after authorities vowed zero tolerance for violence after weekly scenes of rioting and vandalism in Paris and other cities over the past two months --photos of the week from across the world.
