A bench of Mumbai high court on Tuesday has orally asked Shirish Kulkarni , the son of jailed realtor Deepak Sakharam Kulkarni (DSK) to surrender for his involvement in connection with the multicrore DSK fraud case. Shirish had applied for anticipatory bail which the high court didn’t entertain.
Pravin Chavan, special public prosecutor, said, “Court has clearly stated that it’s not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to Shirish Kulkarni and asked him to either withdraw his bail application or surrender. The court has found that Shirish Kulkarni was the director in many companies’ instrumental in carrying out the multicrore fraud.
The economic offences wing of Pune police has arrested seven of DSK’s family, including him and his wife Hemanti Kulkarni. The other arrested have been identified as Anuradha Purandare, sister of Hemanti; Kedar Vanjape, Sai Vanjape, Dhananjay Pachpore and Vinay Badgand.
