Little junior champions tennis: Tawade enters semi-final with ease

Second seeded Krishay Tawade has an easy outing in the quarterfinals as he beats Yugandhar Shastri 4-2 in the third leg of PMDTA-Icon Little Junior Champions Bronze series tennis tournament at Centre For Police Research ground in Pashan on Monday.

Tawade was in control of the match right from the start, while his opponent kept making unforced errors before conceding the match.

Top seeded Anshul Pujari also entered the semi-final with a 6-3 win over Neel Desai. The toughest match of the day was between Aarav Mulay and third seeded Smith Undre, which the former wins in tiebreaker 6-5 (7-3).

Fourth seeded Vedant Joshi also got the better of Yug Uparikar 6-3.

Among girls, top seeded Shravee Deore, Srushti Suryavanshi, Veera Harpude and Swara Jawale secured victories over their opponents.
