Pune students shine in ISC and ICSE results 2019
Reputed schools like Bishops, Wisdom world school, Vibgyor school have scored 100 per cent passing percentage
The Council for Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) declared the results of Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) Class 10 and Indian School Certificate (ISC) Class 12 results online on Tuesday at 3pm.

While city schools have garnered good performance in both, reputed schools like Bishops, Wisdom world school, Vibgyor school have scored 100 per cent passing percentage.
Vishruti Ranjan, a Class 12 student from Saint Mary’s Junior college, Camp, is among toppers in the country and has stood 3rd in the all India ranking with 99.5 per cent, getting 398 marks out of 400 in science stream. Ranjan said, “I didn’t expect this but it feels great. I didn’t do anything extra, just alloted adequate time for studies throughout the year.I love listening to music and play sports which was a stress buster for me during exams.”
Ananya Katyal, from Vibgyor NIBM school campus scored 98.4 per cent in Class 10. Talking about her success Katyal said, “I worked very hard and studied regularly throughout the year. I never had any pressure of exams, as I continued my dance classes and even played keyboard as a stress buster .”
Naman Agarwal, Class 10 student from Wisdom world school is among the city toppers in ICSE with 98 per cent. “I am very happy. All my efforts have shown colours now. It was a tough exam for me, but my family and school teachers supported me a lot” said Agarwal.
Pallavi Umesh Buwa from Bishop school, Camp scored 99.25 per cent in science and is one of the Pune toppers. When asked about her success, Buwa said, “My routine was pretty hectic as I used to study for hours.I would cycle when I felt stressed and also read a lot of books. I will be probably pursue engineering or research.”
“We are very happy with the overall results and the sincere efforts of our students and faculty have borne fruits. Apart from the enormous number of activities that the students indulged during the academic year, they still performed remarkably well. Some of the outstanding subjects are English, Computer, Commerce, Psychology and Political Science,” said Joel Edwin, principal, Bishop school, Camp.
