Two labourers attack fellow colleague with acid in Pune, booked

According to the information provided by Chakan police, the complainant was attacked at 5 am in the morning on Tuesday. The accused person threw the acid on him which is used to wipe paint.

Two labourers have been booked for throwing acid on a man over a minor argument. The incident occurred on Tuesday morning at Nanekar wadi in Chakan.

The accused has been identified as Ravi Bhagat and Baban Bhagat, both residents of Nanekar wadi who have thrown acid on complainant Ajay Mishra, 26, also a resident of Nanekar wadi.

Three of them worked in one Super auto India Ltd company in Chakan. Mishra had a minor argument with Ravi and Baban eight days back. Both were infuriated with Mishra and decided to attack him with acid.

According to the information provided by Chakan police, the complainant was attacked at 5 am in the morning on Tuesday. The accused person threw the acid on him which is used to wipe paint. Mishra has sustained severe injuries and was admitted to a private hospital where he is under treatment.

Police has registered a case under section 326A (Voluntarily causing hurt by use of acid,etc.) of IPC against the two accused.
