An 18-year-old girl was allegedly raped by a youth on the pretext of getting her a job in Ballabhgarh area in the district, police said on Monday.

An 18-year-old girl was allegedly raped by a youth on the pretext of getting her a job in Ballabhgarh area in the district, police said on Monday.

The victim, a resident of Noida, in her complaint said that he knew the accused, identified as Gopal, who had called her on Sunday to Ballabgarh, saying he would her a job in a good company, a police spokesperson said.

When the girl reached there, the accused came on a motorcycle and took her away to a nearby house where he allegedly raped her, police said.

A case has been registered against the accused, who is absconding, police said, adding, further investigation is on to nab him.

In another incident, Jendrapal, a resident of Sector-31 here, has filed a complaint with the police, alleging that his 14-year-old daughter was abducted for marriage, police said.

In a separate incident, Prabhunath, resident of Mujesar has also alleged that his 16-year-old daughter was abducted for marriage, they said.
