19 more dengue cases reported from city hospitals
The city hospitals here on Wednesday reported 19 more cases of dengue. With this, the total number of dengue cases in Ludhiana district has reached to 809.

The city hospitals here on Wednesday reported 19 more cases of dengue. With this, the total number of dengue cases in Ludhiana district has reached to 809.
The total number of dengue patients from other districts admitted in the city hospitals has reached to 275, while those admitted from other states to 20.
Meanwhile, a meeting that was scheduled on Wednesday to review dengue deaths was postponed as the hospitals’ authorities allegedly did not fill up the forms about patients who died due to dengue in a proper manner. The health authorities have, so far, not confirmed any death by dengue in Ludhiana.
Dr Ramesh Bhagat, district epidemiologist, said, “The meeting will now be organised either on Thursday or Friday.”
